What we’ll see:
Capital Building and Grounds: Walk the grounds and learn how and why Washington was designed this way and the importance of Capitol Hill to the city, region, and of course, the nation.
House Office Buildings: Explore the labyrinth of tunnels below Capitol Hill as we get up close and personal with the inner workings s of this city within a city. Thousands of legislative assistants, correspondents, and support staff work alongside members of Congress to make this part of Capitol Hill an exciting, fast-paced part of DC not seen on standard tours.
Supreme Court & Library of Congress: Discuss the roles of the Supreme Court and Library of Congress and their place in the federal government. We'll stop for a photo op on the steps of the Supreme Court Building ask enter the building for a glimpse at the Chamber. The Court building is closed when the Court is hearing an actual case. Entry to the Library of Congress requires ticket and we will acquire them! We will see the stunning Great Hall and Reading Room from above.
